Kathy Constan graduated with a BA/LLB from the University of Melbourne and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of Australia in 1989. She founded Hercules Constan in 1993.
Hercules Constan has provided services to the Water Industry, representing the Water Authorities for over 25 years. Through Hercules Constan, Kathy developed and implemented many innovations to improve the outcomes for her water clients, including cost effective recovery solutions, alternative collection strategies and caveats. In providing legal services Kathy not only deals with the legal issues but also identifies deficiencies in processes and suggests changes to overcome these deficiencies to ensure better outcomes without recourse to the legal process.
Kathy has also advised many businesses in the commercial sector in the operation and management of their businesses. This advice has ranged from structuring, commercial business sales, leasing and property transactions. Kathy has detailed knowledge of property lodgements, particularly caveats and Hercules Constan was recently named as a top Caveat Transactor by PEXA.
In addition to Hercules Constan Kathy also successfully established and operated Contact Collections Pty Ltd. Contact Collections Pty Ltd operated as a mercantile agency for 10years servicing the water, power and roads industries.
Kathy is an alumni of Leadership Victoria and has served on a number of not for profit boards. She is also chair of the Owners Corporation of 434 St Kilda Road, representing over 80 owners.
Kathy enjoys travelling, food, skiing and spending time with her family. She is also fluent in the Greek language.
Jamie brings a wealth experience to the LodgeX team, having worked previously for two premier law firms, specialising in Property Law, Wills and Estates and Commercial Law.
Jamie’s skills have been gained working autonomously as the supervising lawyer, within the Property Law and Conveyancing team, managing the team of in-house law clerks. Jamie was the key contact to develop, prepare and review Contracts of Sale and Lease Agreements in accordance with clients’ instructions and expectations. His experience in Property Law matters extends across both Commercial and Residential sales and purchases, as well as off-the-plan sales and purchases, subdivisions and consolidations. Jamie is also highly experienced in Wills and Estates and Commercial Law, further adding to his value as an integral member of the LodgeX team and to the expertise offered to our clients. Jamie is a certified PEXA user and is fully up to date with all relevant legislation in the e- conveyancing space. Jamie prides himself on building and maintaining positive client relationships and looks forward to assisting you with your needs in the future.
Georgie has been an integral part of the LodgeX since its very early days and joined the team when she identified the benefits of working in the e-settlement property space, following her family’s long interests in residential building and property development.
She brings great knowledge to the team and an energetic vitality, coupled with an unwavering focus on clients’ needs and as such she has built many strong and ongoing relationships with LodgeX members.
Georgie has recently completed her studies in Advanced Diploma in Conveyancing at Melbourne Polytechnic.
